The Music Den would like to thank all the students who have converted to our online lessons. Hopefully the transition has been smooth and you are continuing to see the benefits of musical instruction.
As a thank you to those who have stayed with us, and to hopefully ease some of the financial burden we have all been feeling, The Music Den is temporarily lowering our online lesson rates.
For the month of April, all online lessons will be discounted $10 per lesson.
We would like to thank you once again for continuing with us on this unprecedented journey.

I wanted to take a moment to let you know what The Music Den family is doing to help during this current crisis. Our primary concern at this time is the health and well being of our community and employees. We are monitoring the situation daily and following recommended guidelines set forth by local, state, and federal agencies.
Our store will remain open as long as it is able and allowed to. We are reducing hours and working with a minimum staff to reduce any risk to our customers and employees. Cleaning and disinfecting is being done constantly. We are operating under an abundance of caution.
We have suspended all in store music lessons to promote social distancing. All teachers have been asked to move these private lesson to an online format. We are making a full force effort to continue the musical education of our students at a time when music and the joy of making music is perhaps a much needed distraction.
We would like you to know that our online store is running and here for any musical needs you may have. We are closely monitoring UPS and the Postal Service and as long as they are running, we are also. For those of you in our local communities who may not feel comfortable coming into our store, we will be implementing a curbside pickup option. Order online, when you are notified your order is ready, drive up to the front of our store, give us a call, and we will deliver your order right to your car for you.
For over 20 years I have called The Music Den my family. We have been through 9/11, Hurricane Sandy, economic downturns, and personal tragedies. One consistent through all this is we have done it together. The current situation is like nothing we ever imagined. It is a time of great uncertainty and unprecedented disruption. But we will battle this and conquer it, together. As a family.

To Our Valued Music Den Parents and Students,
Starting Wednesday, March 18th The Music Den will be suspending all in store lessons and group classes. We have asked our instructors to try to continue lessons at the regularly scheduled times via Google Duo.
Duo is a free video chat app that will allow face to face interaction between the student and teacher while adhering to social distancing guidelines. Your teacher will be in touch with you regarding details. We hope you are willing to use this service as we believe this will allow students to continue their musical education and help our teachers maintain some much needed financial stability in this time of uncertainty. For those students that cannot take advantage of this online option, credits will be issued to your accounts and applied to lessons when it is safe to resume.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but the health and safety of our students and faculty is our number one priority. Thank you for your understanding.
Dear Parents and Students,
Here at The Music Den we are committed to keeping our parents and students up to date with the constantly evolving COVID19 situation. As you are already aware, many area schools are closing in an attempt to promote social distancing and curtail the spread of this unprecedented public health crisis. In an attempt to keep our students involved and by following the lead set by local school systems, we are implementing an online lesson option for our current students.
At this time, the store is remaining open, and our teachers will still be coming in for lessons. We are doing everything in our power to clean and disinfect the store on an hourly basis. We also understand that if you would feel more at ease keeping yourself and/or child at home, we will be offering an online option. We know this is not a replacement for one-on-one lessons, but we hope it will help maintain some normalcy. Students who are interested in this option will be able to still have face to face lessons with their teacher at there set day and time and not loose momentum with their music education. The silver lining to all this is together when we work out the kinks in this system, we will be able to facilitate make-up and custom online lessons in the future.
With schools closing and social events minimized, we feel that this option will help students remain engaged and productive during their extended stay at home. We will continue to explore options to help in this regard.
In this time of uncertainty, The Music Den is keeping its commitment to our students and community to offer the finest musical education experience we possibly can. We will remain in constant contact with you as information becomes available.Sincerely,
Dear Parents and Students,
With all the talk of the current Coronavirus situation, we wanted to reach out and let you know what The Music Den family is doing to keep our teachers, students, and parents safe and aware. As the situation evolves, we will continue to monitor state, and federal guidelines for schools and businesses. We are also monitoring the local school systems to help make decisions as the situation evolves.
First and most importantly, we encourage any student or parent who might be ill to stay home. We are also instructing our teachers and employees to do the same. Credits will be issued for absences.
At the moment, the general risk is low, but we realize the importance of transparency and communication. An effort is being made to supply each lesson room with disinfectant wipes and cleaning supplies. We are also proactively wiping clean surfaces and areas throughout the store on a regular basis.
As further details come to light we will keep everyone informed on our website, and teachers will contact students directly if need be.
