The Music Den Man t-shirts are printed on high-quality "Vintage Black" Next Level Apparel shirts. These shirts are incredibly soft to the touch, true to size, and the ink used isn't a hard plastic that you feel on the shirt itself - all the while maintaining durability from washing. The shirts have a pre-washed "vintage" feel to them, much like what you'd find in an old thrift store from the 1980s - right around the time when The Music Den came to be! The color we currently carry is similar to a dark grey, but is cataloged as "Vintage Black" - emulated to appear washed several hundred times over nearly 4 decades.
The image of the gentleman on the shirt is based on The Music Den's original advertisement from the 1980s, when we first opened! The man is based on founders Tom & Jerry Scognamiglio's father - who helped start the business! He was an amazing opera singer who joined World War II and returned home and had the family who later started this very musical instrument store!
60% combed ringspun cotton, 40% polyester jersey
Fabric laundered for reduced shrinkage
1x1 baby rib-knit set-in collar
The Next Level Apparel 6210 Men's CVC Crew T-Shirt is a favorite; the higher percentage of combed, ring spun cotton in the blend (60%) creates a shirt that is incredibly soft, lightweight and durable. Chief cotton breathes and feels like a luxury tri-blend, and a stretchy, inset 1x1 ribbed collar and tear-out tag add to the notable comfort of this men's t-shirt. The light heather texture makes the print stand out. Pre-laundered for accuracy in sizing, these men's t-shirts will stay true to fit and form, aided by the addition of durable polyester (40%).
