The Music Den's School Servicing program is a unique and innovative service that we provide to local schools in New Jersey. Once a week, our The Music Den School Division Van visits each school we service, bringing needed instruments and accessories to the Band or Orchestra Director. Sounds like typical music store school servicing, huh? But, not at the Music Den!!!!

What makes our program so very different is, THE WEB!!! The convenience of our School Servicing combined with the power of our www.TheMusicDen.com ecommerce website and C2B Online Payment System together create a dynamic service that helps not only Band and Orchestra Directors, but parents and students as well!
  1. Students no longer have to come to the store to rent instruments. Students can make new rental contracts and rental payments online from the website. The rental instruments are delivered directly to the school! (Coming Soon!)
  2. Students no longer have to come to the store or go through the Band or Orchestra Director to get the books and accessories that they need. Books and accessories can be ordered online, or using our new 2007 Band and Orchestra Catalog and these items will be delivered for them directly to the school.
  3. All payments are made by the student online. The Band and Orchestra Director no longer has to coordinate getting money from the students for items that were ordered.

  4. Band and Orchestra Directors no longer have to wait for a visit from or call their School Servicing rep to purchase items or pay school invoices. Needed accessories and books can be purchased online at any time. School invoices such as repairs can also be paid online.

Check our School List to make sure your school is included in the School Servicing program.

WE can only deliver to the school if they are an active part of our School Servicing program. To find out if your school is included, please browse our list of schools ***here***. Next to each school it will say if they are currently being serviced or not and which day of the week we usually visit the school.

Only Band or Orchestra related items can be delivered.

We keep School Servicing deliveries strictly band and orchestra related, such as rental instruments, and band and orchestra accessories and books. Guitars and other musical items cannot be delivered. The student must be a member of the school band or orchestra. Items are delivered once a week to the band or orchestra director and they will distribute the items to the students when they come to class.

Choose "School Servicing" when you check out from the shopping cart.

As you are purchasing your item using the shopping cart, simply change the Shipping Method to "School Servicing." Then, in the notes section please let us know the name of the school you attend. There is an example below. That's it. When we process your order the Music Den van will bring it to your school on your school's next regular visit. There is no shipping charge for School Servicing deliveries.

I'm the parent of a band or orchestra student at a local school and I want the Music Den's School Servicing at our school.

As a parent, we certainly understand why you would want to have school servicing. It takes a lot of the pressure off of you to get your child the essential equipment and accessories they need to grow in music. We encourage you to do two things:

  1. Print out this web page an give it to the music director at your school. Ask them if they've heard of our school servicing program and let them know why you think it would be valuable to you.
  2. Click here to email Schools. Let us know:
    • That you are a parent.
    • What school your child goes to.
    • What the name of the Music Director is.
    • A phone number for the school.

    With this information we will try to communicate to the director and let them know that they have parents and students interested in our program.
