Private Lessons
Music education is one of our highest priorities at The Music Den, and when you visit us it shows. Over 1,000 families have made The Music Den their choice for music instruction each week. They enjoy the quality of our instructors, the environment of our store, our fine choice of instruments and products, and the convenience of our Ledgewood Mall location.

We offer Private instruction for all ages in a wide variety of instruments including piano, guitar, bass, drums, brass, woodwinds, and strings. | Also, The Music Den has spared no expense to give you the learning environment that you deserve at our brand new Ledgewood Mall location. Every instructor now has the advantage of lesson rooms specifically designed to severely reduce and eliminate outside noise, so that you can concentrate on your piano lesson and not the drum instructor's lesson down the hall. |

To help you on your way, The Music Den also has an extensive collection of instructional books and videos, and sheet music. Drop by and browse our selection or give us a call and we'll gladly see if we have what you're looking for. The Music Den is also happy to special order any music you need to get but that we don't currently have in stock.

**Please Note** As of September 1, 2008, lessons are now $100 per month for 4 half hour lessons per month. (5 week months are $125.00.) Family discount rates are $96.00 per month. (5 week months are $120.00 under the family discount.)

Lesson Department Policy
1) Tuition is to be paid in full at the beginning of each month. Accounts that are not up to date at the beginning of each month are disqualified from any make-up lessons resulting from a student absence until the account is brought up to date. Continued delinquency of an account may result in the termination of lessons until the account is brought up to date.
2) If paying by check, please make all checks payable to the student's instructor.
3) Cancellation - If a student must cancel a lesson, you must notify the store before the scheduled lesson time to receive a make-up lesson. We ask that you try to contact us at least 24 hours before the lesson, or with as much lead-up time as possible so the teacher can make use of the empty time slot.
Cancellation and make-up procedures are as follows:
a) There is a limit of one (1) cancellation per month which a make-up lesson can be scheduled to compensate.
b) All make-up lessons must be arranged with the teacher within 30 days of the cancellation and is subject to teacher and room availability.
c) There will be NO CREDITS given for cancelled lessons, except in the event of a teacher cancellation or incliment weather, the student will receive a make-up lesson or credit at the discretion of the teacher.
