From the company that patented the world's first fiberglass bow, Andrew Glasser offers standard fiberglass bows featuring a half-lined bow frog with metal under-slide and an imitation three-part button. Standard 201H bows have genuine unbleached white horsehair and a leatherette grip. A great alternative to inexpensive wood bws, durable, never warping.

Glasser Bows traces its roots back to 1938, when Leon Glasser began handcrafting wooden bows in his small Bronx, New York workshop. Much has changed since that time: Wood has been replaced by synthetic materials; beginning with fiberglass, then graphite, followed by carbon fibre. Meanwhile, the computer has brought new levels of precision to the bow making process.

Glasser is the only company to manufacture a full range of student and professional bows for all stringed instruments in all sizes, including violin, viola, cello and bass. All Glasser products are made in the USA.
