NJMEA All State 2007-2008 High School Band Solo Snare Drum

This four movement piece combines traditional notation with indeterminate, graphic notation. The first movement is essentially a rudimental solo; the second is an indeterminate meditation with brushes; the third is an exploration of the multiple sounds available on a concert snare drum; and the fourth is a graphically notated exploration of various sticks/mallets.
